Hope it isn't too annoying to cross-post between this and Comic Book Geeks tribe, but neither seem too active so I'm hopefully not annoying too many people. Or if I am annoying them, they don't particularly care.
Thought I'd chime in with another unsolicited review... I wholeheartedly recommend Alison Bechdel's graphic memoir, "Fun Home." This is the writer/illustrator of Dykes to Watch out For. The prose is rich, funny, airy, and not forced. Love her art -- clean and really evocative. Lots of very funny bits, but the whole piece is really... er... poetic (hate to use that cheesy word).
